They might play couples but outside of the show, they’re really like family.
Another thing we love is that they’re very respectful of each other’s families and even formed friendships with the wives and husbands of their co-stars.
Crystal Renee Hayslett is really good friends with Devale Ellis’s wife Khadeen and she’s even a godmother to their youngest child!
Devale shared in an interview with BET:
Ellis praises both Hayslett and his wife Khadeen Ellis for building a bond and understanding that his relationship with his co-star is just work.
“Shout out to these two beautiful, strong women, especially my wife [Khadeen] who understands this is work,” he shared.
“She allows me and [Crystal] to express ourselves artistically onscreen without throwing wrenches or making it about her. I want to also shout out [Crystal] for being the most respectful co-star who always ensured my wife was comfortable. She also ensured I was comfortable as we embarked on this journey together from season two of [Sistas]. We’re able to compartmentalize the moment we’re onset — she goes from being my baby and my everything back to my best friend when the cameras are off.”

In Season four, Andi played by KJ Smith finally focuses on her own wants and needs when it comes to her personal life. While continuing to be a top-notch lawyer, Andi tests the waters with the possibility of a new relationship on the horizon. Gary played by Chido Nwokocha, however, goes above and beyond in an attempt to get Andi to commit to him, and only him.
Danni played by Mignon, opens the season showing Preston how she really feels about their relationship now that El Fuego is in the picture. Eventually, things get complicated when Preston played by Trinity Whiteside, begins exhibiting uncharacteristic like behavior to win Danni’s attention.
Karen played by Ebony Obsidian, finds herself consumed with Zac’s personal life this season. Karen’s emotions overtake her as she tries to reconcile her feelings between Zac played by DeVale Ellis, and Aaron played by Kevin A. Walton.
Sabrina played by Novi Brown, is the listening ear to her girlfriends and their drama, but she makes sure she doesn’t forget about Maurice played by Brian Jordan Jr. While still dating Calvin played by Anthony Dalton II, Sabrina embarks on a new journey that could lead to newfound love.
Fatima played by Crystal Renee’ Hayslett, basks in her love for Zac and makes it known to anyone who questions their relationship. Although Fatima finds herself facing new challenges in her relationship with Zac, her feet are firmly planted. I love love love both Sistas & Fatima! Awesome job, Tyler & the entire cast. I feel like Karen is going to be broken down because one baby is Aaron’s and the other is Zac’s. However; I don’t think both babies will make it and Karen will struggle whether to tell Zac his baby didn’t make it. The twist will be she lies and they find out, Aaron’s the father to the baby that makes it. We can’t have Fatima raising all these babies and she hasn’t had the chance to have her own. 😔 Keep up the suspense because we’re all for it!!!❤️💞🥰

Sistas and Zatima are my two most favorite shows on TV. I don’t really watch TV, until your shows are on. I love they way you leave us hanging, not know or can figure out the twist. Keep it 💯 coming, I look fwd to watching this as long as my mother watched Days of Our Lives. And, I must say it was good, but it has nothing on Sistas or Zatima!

Karen is annoying and that storyline is played out. She is finally showing in this season, but we’re tired of it. Why change the Jordan characters? You could have at least had Andy and him at least break up and have her date a whole new guy. We didn’t see how Jordan’s sister forgave Gary; would have loved to see that conversation
